The fledgling Association for Rental Living (ARL) – which describes itself as a membership body for the Build To Rent sector – has launched an initiative to increase its relevance.
Louise Bangee from property management firm Urbanbubble and Freya Richard from London BTR operator Vertus will co-chair a new committee, looking at a range of activities including salary benchmarking, security and bike theft, Building Safety Act issues, the practical implications of the Renters’ Rights Bill and minimum professional qualification requirements.
They say: “I am really looking forward to use our combined experience across three sectors to truly make a difference. By exchanging best practices, constructively challenging each other and nurturing industry growth, we have a great opportunity to shape the BTR future … Our committee members have such a wealth of knowledge and experience and I am confident we can deliver some really tangible support and guidance for the industry.”
Other committee members include representatives from BTR industry companies such as Essential Living, Related Argent, Greystar, Cortland and Quintain Living.
