Some of the private rental sector’s leading experts will address landlords at a major conference next week.
North East Derbyshire council is promoting the East Midlands Housing Conference 2026, which will take place at the East Midlands Conference Centre on October 20.
The conference will provide landlords, letting agents and housing professionals with practical guidance on the Renters Rights Act.
Housing law specialist David Smith and Suzanne Smith, author of The Good Landlord Handbook, will deliver the keynote presentations.
They will be joined by a range of expert speakers leading interactive workshops throughout the day.
An exhibition featuring organisations that support landlords and housing professionals will also run alongside the conference.
A council spokesperson says: “This conference is a great opportunity for landlords from our area to find out more about the Renters Rights Act 2025.”
