The National Residential Landlords Association is staging what it’s calling a ‘Royal Assent Webinar’ in mid-September, marking what it believes will be the likely timetable for the Renters Rights Bill to become law.
The Bill had its Third Reading in the House of Lords yesterday and now goes back for consideration by the House of Commons on September 8, some days after MPs return from their summer recess.
Anticipating that it will become law within days of that House of Commons debate, the NRLA is staging the webinar at 2pm on September 17 – it is for members only.
The association’s chief policy officer, Chris Norris, will be joined by other experts to lead landlord members through the key changes and reflect on how the sector is likely to be impacted.
The association tells its member that as there remains at least some uncertainty around the parliamentary schedule, the date of this webinar may be subject to change.
