Dozens of landlords are expected to attend a new event next month.
Lettings agency Cavendish is holding the first ever ‘The Big Clwyd Landlord Update’ at Theatr Clwyd.
It will focus on some of the major challenges facing North Wales landlords including imminent tax rises, digital reporting requirements and ever tightening property standards and compliance.
The free seminar will take place on Monday, October 26, and will be led by Cavendish Managing Director David Adams and Operations Director Nicola Blake.
Key issues that will be covered on the night include:
David Adams, who is also the author of The Landlord’s Playbook, says: “Self-managing landlords, letting agent clients, and anyone weighing up whether to stay in the rental market at all will walk away with clarity on the important issues facing the sector now and over the next couple of years.
“While the Renters’ Rights Act doesn’t apply to Wales, we know that there are many other challenges keeping landlords awake at night and causing them to ask whether it still makes sense to operate in the sector.
“Falling foul of the new rules and regulations is not only stressful, it can also be expensive in terms of fines.
“The Big Clwyd Landlord Update is a response to the concerns we are hearing and will endeavour to provide landlords in the region with the information they need to make the right decisions.”
The event will start at 6.30am on Monday, October 26, and finish at 8pm with the opportunity to ask the Cavendish team further questions after the session finishes.
