The Foxtons agency has partnered with IAG Loyalty – the firm behind Avios – to allow landlords and sellers to earn reward points on property transactions.
Customers using Foxtons to manage a property or sell it can collect up to 30,000 Avios. Existing Foxtons landlords who add property management services can earn 20,000 Avios.
The scheme is available to British Airways Club members who link their My Foxtons account to their BA account before instructing the agency.
Foxtons says the partnership follows research on landlord behaviour regarding renewal and incentives.
Most landlords review which agency they use every two or three years; some 80% indicate that a reward scheme could persuade them to switch agent.
Foxtons chief executive Guy Gittins says: “This partnership is another way we’re adding value for our customers and strengthening what makes Foxtons unique. It supports our focus on attracting and retaining landlords, growing our share of the London market, and supporting more customers with our property management services.
“As the only UK estate agent where people can earn Avios, we’re giving customers an additional benefit when they choose to let or sell in London.”
IAG Loyalty spokesperson Rob McDonald adds: “Landlords who choose Foxtons’ property management services can now be rewarded with Avios, providing even greater value as they manage their property portfolios, while homeowners can start the new year with new rewards, thanks to the sales and letting proposition.”
